Requires Consultants (Two posts)

Centre for Environment Education (CEE) is a national institute engaged in developing programmes and materials to increase awareness about the environment. CEE's primary objective is to improve public awareness and understanding of environmental issues with a view to promote the conservation and wise use of nature and natural resources.

The Consultant post offer excellent opportunity to develop and implement programmes in the area of environment and development specific to rural areas.

The Job: Environmental assessment of rural community development projects, training, development of educational materials, monitoring, documentation etc. Involves extensive travel. The position is based at CEE’s State Office in Hyderabad.

Minimum Qualification & Experience: First Class Masters Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science or Social Science. Proficiency in written and spoken Telugu and English is a must. Candidates with relevant experience preferred. Rural field experience, even if brief, is desirable. Computer skills essential. Must have a keen interest in and awareness of the events/issues in the field of environment and development and ability to work in a team.

Salary: Rs.6, 000 per month (consolidated).

Duration: Initially for 3 months. Extendable on review of performance.
