These are exceptional opportunities for well-qualified graduates with research ambitions and teaching potential in Higher Education.They are available for a fixed term of five years from 1 September 2004, and will provide an opportunity for study towards a PhD on a part-time, fee waiver basis, coupled with an opportunity for part-time teaching experience, in one of the foremost environmental departments in the UK.Teaching responsibilities will be allocated in light of current workloads of existing academic staff, and according to the experience and aptitude of successful applicants.Potential PhD topics are available across the range of existing research interests in the Institute, including environment and business, ecological economics,environment and development, environmental risk, and other aspects of sustainable development.
