MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology
The Laboratory of Molecular Biology is an internationally renowned centre for fundamental biomedical research, and is located on the Addenbrooke’s Hospital site in Cambridge.
We wish to appoint a Research Assistant in the group of Dr Andrew McKenzie. You will undertake a project to investigate the role of cytokines in the development of lymphoma. It would be advantageous if you have experience in molecular biology, microarrays, primary cell culture and/ or mouse models. You should hold a degree in an appropriate scientific discipline.
The position is funded until 6 July 2006 by Leukaemia Research Fund. The starting salary will be in the range of £18,581 - £21,403 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This is supported by a flexible pay and reward scheme, and optional MRC final salary Pension Scheme. We can offer 30 days annual leave entitlement, plus 2.5 privilege days and public holidays and excellent on site sports and social facilities.
