Offers an exciting opportunity to join the psychiatric genetics group and contribute to our research on the genetic basis of schizophrenia (see http://www.genetics.med.ed.ac.uk) We are based within a 5* research group (Head, Professor David J Porteous) and are fully skilled in clinical, basic and applied research.
You will have a degree in a relevant subject and previous laboratory experience in cell culture, basic molecular biology and or protein biochemistry. A working knowledge of basic bioinformatics is desirable.
The post is fixed term until 30-Nov-05
Salary: £15, 603 - £18,495 p.a.
