For more information about ECOWISE/WSL please visit our website at www.ecowise.com.au Due to growth in the Aquatic Ecology product area ECOWISE/WSL is seeking a well qualified and experienced freshwater aquatic biologist/ecologist to be based at our Brisbane Laboratory with particular experience in : *Project design and management, *Aquatic macroinvertebrate taxonomy and ecology (preferably to genus/species level), *Related disciplines such as water quality, vegetation, fisheries, hydrology etc., *Field sampling of freshwater and estuarine systems,
*Statistical analysis and interpretation of complex ecological data (univariates, multivariates, AusRivAS). *Scientific and technical report writing skills The person we are looking for will most probably have a minimum of an honours degree and 5 years relevant work experience. Experience working in a commercial consulting environment would also be highly regarded. ECOWISE will offer an attractive salary to the right person in addition to flexible working conditions.
