University of Liverpool: Heggie PhD Studentship

Applications are invited for a three-year Heggie PhD studentship to commence as soon as possible in the Department of Immunology, University of Liverpool (2001 RAE grade 5) ( http://www.liv.ac.uk/immunology/main.htm).
Applicants for the studentship should indicate a preference for one of three projects:

1) Structural and Functional Characterisation of Human Spermatozoal CD46 (P.M. Johnson)
2) Lymphocyte and Neutrophil Expression of IL-9 (B.F. Flanagan)
3) The Effects of Anti-Epileptic Drugs on Trophoblast Invasion (G. Vince & S. Quenby)

Applicants must have or expect to obtain a First or Upper Second Class degree in a relevant subject, and have an interest in human immunity in disease. Applicants must have been previously resident in the UK for at least three years.
