The "Galileo Galilei Ph.D. School" in Basic Sciences of the University of Pisa announces a competition, based on academic qualifications, for
nine grants to attend three year Ph.D. courses in Pisa. The candidates
must not be resident in Italy, and they must have got a Master degree and Secondary School qualification by non-italian institutions.
Two of the nine grants will be awarded to candidates who wish to enrol in the Ph.D. programme in Chemical Sciences. The subject of the Ph.D. thesis will be preferentially, but not mandatorily, "New structural and functional materials" (quite a broad subject, also including computational investigations).
