12-Month Appointment
A Researcher is required to plan, undertake and analyse qualitative interviews with stakeholders involved in selected wildlife management conflicts, as part of an interdisciplinary project team.
The successful applicant should hold a post-graduate degree, with PhD preferred, although candidates with a Masters and relevant research experience may be considered. They may have a background in either social or natural sciences, but should be familiar with wildlife management issues and conflicts in the UK, and be skilled at eliciting and understanding the views of people with different perspectives and priorities.
Starting salary, depending upon qualifications and experience, will normally be within the range £21700 - £25200 per annum. Pensionable appointment.
