Applications are invited for a Research Assistant to work in the Transplantation Biology Section of the Department of Immunology, under the supervision of Prof Robert Lechler. This post will be on a fixed-term contract for c.11months, based at the Hammersmith Hospital Campus of Imperial College London located in East Acton.

The project is funded by a research grant awarded by the Medical Research Council. The project will involve the identification of key molecules specifically expressed by CD4/CD25+ regulatory T cells, and to dissect mechanisms of immunoregulation in the xenotransplant model specified.

Applicants should possess a strong MSc in Immunology. Experience in cellular techniques and flow cytometry would be desirable. This post would suit someone with interests in cellular biology and immunology.
