Department of Neuroscience
We would like to invite applications for the post of Post-doctoral Research Worker in the Department of Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry. This post holder will expand on the current research programme on amyloidogenesis, with special emphasis on how modulation of APP trafficking through lipid rafts may influence A generation in Alzheimer’s disease. The post is funded by the Alzheimer’s Research Trust for a period of four years.
The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent and, ideally, three years post-doctoral experience. A high level of laboratory skills as well as an understanding of cell and molecular neurosciences is also essential. Less experienced but highly motivated individuals with a strong interest in pursuing a career in neuroscience are also encouraged to apply.
Starting salary in the range £23,963pa to £30,312pa, depending on qualifications and experience.
