The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish currently has an opening for a nongame and endangered species mammalogist. This function of this position is to implement the New Mexico Wildlife Conservation Act for native mammals through surveys and research to determine the status of the state's mammals, describing conservation needs in correspondence, reports, plans, etc., and interacting with agencies, organizations, and publics to meet identified conservation needs.
The position is based out of Santa Fe, and has a salary range that begins at $14.44/hour.
