Research associate and two graduate students positions

Positions for one research associate and one or two graduate students are immediately available in the School of Renewable Natural Resources, Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. The team will work with a group of scientists on a project investigating the effectiveness of Forest Best Management Practices in water quality protection. The research will be conducted in two small forested watersheds in northern Louisiana, where operational timber harvest will be implemented and changes of in-stream water quality will be monitored over a period of 2 years. Field experience in water quality monitoring, forest hydrology or soils would be a great plus for this research. Please send CV and a brief letter of your interests. E-mail attachments are welcome.
