A postdoctoral position is available for 12 months from 1 September 2004 to study mechanisms of integrin signalling. You will be involved in the preparation of primary cultures, DNA sequencing and use of DNA software, and RNA and DNA preparation from cultured cells and tissues. Essential publication requirements: must have proven research record in the field of extracellular matrix research. Essential expertise: in vivo genotyping and phenotype analysis; culture of primary epithelial cells; DNA/RNA isolation, RT-PCR; gene transfer into mammalian cells; working with extracellular matrix proteins.
Salary: £19,460 - £21,460 per annum.
