ECOLOGIST.

The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Rice University (http://eeb.rice.edu) anticipates filling a tenure-track faculty position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level. We invite applications in any area of ecology including theoretical, empirical and experimental approaches to the study of populations, communities and ecosystems. Rice is a private university with a strong commitment to the highest standards of research and undergraduate and graduate education. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, extramurally funded research program. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching interests, up to five publications, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to: Ecologist Search Committee, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology - MS 170, Rice University, 6100 Main Street, Houston, TX 77005-1892.
