needed from 29 Dec 2004 – 24 Jan 2005, to assist Environmental Protection In the Caribbean’s (EPIC) neo-tropical overwintering bird research on the Caribbean island of St. Martin. Banders will be required to work at two banding stations (secondary dry forest and thorn scrub forest). Applicants must have previous banding experience. Candidates may also have the opportunity to assist in offshore seabird research as well as a multi-year mangrove restoration project on St. Martin. The candidate will be responsible for all travel costs to St. Martin. EPIC will provide housing and transportation while on St. Martin, as well as a $500 stipend.
