PhDs in the field of wildlife management

Three APA (Industry) scholarships are available for students with Australian citizenship or residency who want to undertake PhDs in the field of wildlife management through contraception in Australia. The target species are koalas, grey kangaroos and rock wallabies. The research is supported by an Australian Research Council Linkage Grant entitled “Fertility Management of Koalas, Kangaroos and Wallabies”. The scholarships may be taken up at The University of New South Wales, The University of Melbourne or The University of Western Australia. Applicants should have a strong Honours or Masters degree in biological or veterinary science. Scholarships may be tenable from second half 2005.
