on desert ecosystems and native grass communities in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. You will have the opportunity to learn about Sonoran Desert natural communities, desert plants and ecological relationships. Physical fitness must be adequate for long days of hiking in dry, steep and rough terrain. Must be able to commit fully to at least one of the entire field survey seasons listed below. Preference will be given to those who can commit to both field seasons. A basic
knowledge of the ecosystems of the Sonoran Desert is desired. Pay will be $1000 per season and based on successful completion of the season’s field work. A bonus will be paid upon successful completion of both field seasons. Some travel and food costs will be covered. You must have personal camping equipment and a mountain bike may be desirable.
