Location: University of Pittsburgh Pymatuning Lab of Ecology, Linvesville,

Job Description: I am looking for an independent, motivated research
assistant to aid in the implementation and data collection of on-going
research addressing the effects of herbivory and mycorrhizal dependency on
plant resource competition and coexistence.
Duties will largely consist of plant & insect identification, glamorous
weeding, and plant trait measurements/data recording. The work may involve
long hours, sometimes in inclement weather.
Duration: An assistant is need from July 1 (or earlier) to mid August.
Compensation: Room, board, travel expenses, and small monthly stipend.
Qualifications: I am primarily interested in someone that is hard-working
and enjoys being outdoors. Previous coursework/ experience in botany,
ecology, etc a plus. Additionally, PLE is a pretty great place to live for
