Call for ConGen Short Visits and Exchange Grants

ConGen is pleased to inform you that a new Call for Exchange Grants has been
launched. The Programme offers funding for a number of Exchange Grants of up to
one month duration and a support of maximum 1500 EUR per grant.
These grants are especially directed to young scientists that aim at visiting labs that
have new/recent "omics" and other molecular techniques in operation and volunteer
to teach the applicants these techniques. Moreover, applications from
countries/laboratories where the use of these techniques has no long tradition are
particularly supported.
The deadline for application is 15 July 2008.
In addition, ConGen is still offering funding for a number of Short Visit Grants (up to
15 days) related to the scientific objectives of the Programme.
There is no fixed deadline for the submission of Short Visit applications. Funding
decisions are taken by the ConGen Steering Committee every two months..
When submitting applications please ensure that there is at least 3 months between
the date of submission and the proposed starting date of the visit, to ensure that the
Committee have sufficient time to evaluate the application.
