Ref. CF-BS-TEC-050312
The Institute:
The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an innovative centre created
in December 2000 and located in the Barcelona Biomedical Research
Park (PRBB). The mission of the CRG is to promote excellent basic
research in biomedicine, cutting-edge technology development and high
quality training of the next generation of scientists. CRG has a highly
international culture and the working language is English.
Scientific areas include Gene Regulation, Differentiation and Cancer, Cell
and Developmental Biology, Systems Biology, Bioinformatics and
Genomics, Genes and Disease.
Research at the CRG/PRBB is supported by state-of-the-art core facilities
(www.crg.eu/core_facilities) including genomics, proteomics,
bioinformatics, advanced light microscopy, biomolecular screening and
protein technologies, FACS and a modern animal house. The Core
Facilities constitute the centralized scientific research infrastructure at
CRG. They are a meeting point for scientists from different institutes and
disciplines, to foster exchange and integration of expertise, and to create
and conduct interdisciplinary projects.
