WITH EXPERIENCE IN NEXT GENERATION SEQUENCING DATA ANALYSIS
The Crop Functional Genomics group at the University of Bonn seeks a plant geneticist with experience in next generation sequencing data analysis. The postdoctoral researcher will be involved in the molecular and genetic analysis of maize and barley root development and the analysis and interpretation of next generation sequencing experiments (Illumina).
The position is open to highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals with a strong publication record. Applicants should have a solid background in molecular plant genetics preferentially in maize or barley and experience in next-generation data analysis documented by publications. Initially the position is for 2 years but might be extended. Payment is according to the German civil servant pay scale TV-L E13.
