The RoleThe Brooke’s work is evolving and expanding all the time, it is a great time to join the Animal Welfare & Research Team! We are looking for an individual to further mainstream welfare thinking and high-standard welfare practices into the Brooke’s work. We are looking to cultivate and boost organisational learning about animal welfare, ethics, equine behaviour and humane handling of working horses, donkeys and mules and its application in practice. The post-holder will interact with all departments to ensure that Brooke and partner programme staff are supported to make the best use of available evidence to improve working equine welfare.
CriteriaWe are looking for someone who would work reactively and proactively using a variety of approaches to engage others in their professional advice on equine welfare, handling and management. Collaborative working, overseas travel, facilitating workshops and technical communication support will be required for this role.
