Research in our group is focused on transcriptional control during the cell cycle and its role in tumorigenesis. The goal of the project is to investigate the role of B-MYB in lung cancer progression using a combination of cell culture based experiments and molecular biology techniques. State-of-the-art technologies including Chromatin-Immunoprecipitations (ChIP-Seq), RNA interference, and cre-lox based mouse models will be used.
The candidate is expected to have considerable expertise in molecular biology and/or biochemistry. Prior experience in molecular tumor biology or mouse genetics will be advantageous.
We offer a highly stimulating research environment in an international team.
