Teaching responsibilities will include wildlife toxicology, toxicology, upper division wildlife and environmental biology courses, other specialty courses, and introductory biology courses for majors and non-majors. Undergraduate advising of wildlife/conservation biology majors will be required. The successful candidate will develop a research program in wildlife or environmental biology involving undergraduate and graduate students and will collaborate with other wildlife/conservation biologists.
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. or ABD (with Ph.D. by August 2015) in a related field (Degree must
be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government
certified university).
• Evidence of active research in wildlife or environmental biology with the
potential to engage Southeast students in significant research activities.
• Experience teaching at college/university level as a graduate assistant,
instructor or above.
• Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others
within the University community.
• Demonstrated commitment to working with multi-cultural populations and
awareness of issues affecting women and minorities.
