attention to functional and phylogenetic patterns. We will also focus heavily on linking broad-scale patterns with properties of local vegetation. We hope to establish the grass family as a “model group” for macroecological
studies, on par with the major vertebrate groups.
Qualifications: We seek candidates with expertise in advanced statistical
analysis and statistical programming, solid ecological background, strong
collaborative skills, and a proven ability to publish at a high
international level. Field experience, especially with grasses, is highly
desirable.
