Science communicator (UK)

POSITION: Science Communicator
DURATION OF CONTRACT: Starting 05/09/16 and ending 31/03/17
SALARY: £65.00 per day
REPORTING TO: Head of Operations

We take pride in appointing only the most talented and passionate presenters at Techniquest, who have a love of Science, Technology, Maths and Engineering and the skills to communicate that enthusiasm to school audiences.
We are now looking to appoint 3 new members of our team who can deliver our workshops and shows through the medium of Welsh across Primary and Secondary Schools, with 1 post in Carmarthenshire, 1 in Pembrokeshire and 1 in Ceredigion.
There will be an amount of travelling daily so access to a car and a clean driving licence is essential.

The post will start in September 2016 and will run to March 2017. The hours are part time, two/three days per week, school term time only with a day rate of £65.00 (inclusive of subsistence). You will be working from home but supported by the Operations Team at Techniquest in Cardiff.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to be checked under the Disclosure & Barring Scheme.
