The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, located in Cuernavaca, Morelos) is seeking outstanding candidates for three (two in Microbial Genomics and one in Bioinformatics) tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor. Applicants must have a Ph.D and postdoctoral experience of at least two years. Successful applicants must have an excellent scientific track record in the area of Microbial Genomics (working with bacteria, archaea, or unicellular eukaryotes) or in the area of Bioinformatics. Responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of original, collaborative, and externally funded research as well as the teaching of undergraduate and graduate students.
