Social Scientist, Diffusion of Innovation
As part of the CI Social Science Initiative (CIsocialscience.org), CI seeks a post-doctoral social scientist to work with an interdisciplinary team to rigorously document and explain patterns and trends in the adoption of conservation interventions. Research will initially document, map, and analyze patterns and trends in community-based marine conservation; subsequent efforts may examine other conservation regimes. Social Scientist, Indigenous and Community Governance
As part of the CI Social Science Initiative (CIsocialscience.org), CI seeks a post-doctoral social scientist to work with an interdisciplinary team to rigorously document patterns and trends in governance of lands and waters by indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLC). Research will initially document, map, and analyze patterns and trends in governance; subsequent efforts will examine the relationship between IPLC governance, biodiversity, and ecosystem services.
