The Ri is looking for new people to join its small and talented team of presenters who are passionate about sharing their love for science. However, because we are the Ri we need people who are not only good in front of an audience, but also good behind the scenes. Our shows include a fair amount of content which can be dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing, and whilst we’re happy to provide some training, we are keen to work with people who already have the necessary knowledge and experience. So we are especially keen to hear from you if you have experience in one or more of cryo, pyro or compressed gases, to go alongside your top-notch presenting skills.
If you think you might fit the bill then there is a (really) short Survey Monkey form here https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/XPXMWFT where you can tell us about your experience. We also want to get a feel for you as a presenter, so it'll be great if you can point us to a short video where we can see you on stage in front of a live audience. And, if you’re not sure if you fit the bill then why not fill in the form anyway? After all, you can’t win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket.
Applications will be open until 22 April. We look forward to hearing from you!
