Are we doing good? Let's review scientific practice!
Organised by and for doctoral students and early career researchers, the symposium Doing Good - Scientific Practice under Review takes a bottom-up approach to central aspects of Good Scientific Practice and Open Science in empirical research. It aims to examine current scientific practices and to offer a thorough view on novel perspectives regarding the publication system, statistical analyses as well as methodological and ethical aspects in scientific research.Invited talks, workshops, and hands-on sessions from experts in their field will give participants the opportunity to learn about recent developments and challenges in Good Scientific Practice and to transfer the knowledge to their own research projects.
The symposium will finish with a panel discussion during which current and future developments of Good Scientific Practice will be debated by experts who act as stakeholders of the academic system. The panel discussion will be open to the public.
