Proyecto corto de investigación en el Zoo de San Diego

We are looking for a research associate for a short term behavior change project based in the San Diego area.

San Diego Zoo Global (SDZG) is recruiting a research associate to work with Dr. Diogo Veríssimo, Dr. Jenny Anne Glikman on a pilot on behavioral change project . This project will focus on:
synthesize which actions and campaigns that zoos, aquaria and other organizations have carried out successfully;
identify which campaign could be carried out at and for SDZG;
design a survey for baseline data regarding the behavior selected;
design a pilot for SDZG to carry out including evaluation of the project;
support the implementation of the pilot.



Qualifications:

• At least a BSc (preferably a Master) in a social science, marketing communications or related field

• Experience in systematic syntheses and in social science approaches (e.g. focus groups, social

• Excellent ability in analyze data (either with R and/or SPSS)

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with (preferred) proven publication record in peer reviewed journals and the ability to write technical reports.



Benefits:

• This a contract base project of fixed term length of 6 months with potential of extension. We are looking for starting this position ASAP . Salary will be experience based appropriate.



Location:

• We are looking for someone in San Diego area, or in proximity with potential to travel to San Diego whenever needed.
