campaigner to develop and implement strategies to raise global
awareness and build power to support expanded protections within the
Sacred Headwaters region of the Amazon basin in Ecuador and Peru.

The Position
Reporting to the Forest Programs Director, this position is
responsible for aiding in developing and implementing an international
campaign strategy, supporting issue research, conducting corporate
outreach, communicating through traditional and digital channels with
key audiences, coordinating with allies, and executing public actions.
Upcoming IUCN Latin American Parks Congress, Conference of Parties
(COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
(Santiago, Chile), the COP Convention of Biological Diversity
(Kunming, China), and other international forums will be key
organizing points for this work. Successful candidates will
demonstrate significant international, multilateral organizing
experience. This position is based in one of our hub offices in
Bellingham, WA; San Francisco, CA; or Vancouver BC and reporting to
the Forest Programs Director.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Salary is
commensurate with experience and adjusted based on location, but will
likely be within the range of $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 USD or
$75,000.00 to 85,000.00 CAD.
This position will work closely with the development and digital
teams, and must have a strong interest and/or commitment to
Stand.earth’s values.
