On Wednesday 5 February, the Academy invites you to a free sci comm breakfast about its recent public engagement project The Departure Lounge <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FR-WAPRm8qs>.

We’ll be sharing how the Academy worked with creative agency The Liminal
Space <https://www.the-liminal-space.com/> to open a pop up shop to
enable conversations between researchers and the public about death and
dying.

We’ll share our experiences working on the project, what we learnt about
attitudes to death and dying and how the project impacted on the
visitors and the researchers involved. Click here to view a short video
