The CLOVER project aims to inform farmers operating in Lombardy on good practices to reconcile agricultural activities with nature conservation. Thus it will be possible to preserve, restore and enhance agro-ecosystems.The research fellow must collaborate in the demonstration actions of the project for: management of paddy field and dynamic on farm conservation of Marsilea quadrifonia; management and mowing of wet meadows; management of paddy field and sowing of Lindernia procumbens; management of the minor irrigation network and spring restoration; economic enhancement of farms operating within the Natura 2000 network.
The research fellow will also have to continue morpho-functional studies on plant traits of alpine species compared with Apennine populations and will have to continue the development and processing of the data collected on climate change in the previous monitorings carried out by the University of Pavia.

Main requirements are:
- degree (with a course duration of not less than 4 years, as referred to in the pre-existing academic regulations pursuant to D.M. n. 509/1999) or post-graduate degrees (pursuant to D.M. n. 509/1999 and to n. 270/2004) awarded by Italian or foreign Universities recognized as equivalent - for the purposes of establishing the equivalence, candidates must provide the necessary documentation to enable the evaluating board to proceed with the qualification assessment
- scientific or professional curriculum suitable for conducting the research activity;
- any Ph.D. title (Art 2- par. 1).
Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 6):

- Specialist/Master degree in Natural Sciences or equivalent foreign degree
- PhD in the field of Natural Sciences, achieved no more than 5 years ago;
- Professional-scientific curriculum suitable for carrying out the research activity;
- Scientific publications in national and international journals, of botanical subject (BIO 03 or similar), with particular reference to the conservation of rare and/or threatened plant species;
- Good knowledge of in/ex situ conservation procedures for rare plants and/or plants threatened by genetic erosion;
- Good knowledge of laboratory practices, with particular reference to the development of tests and experimental protocols for germination of plant species;
- Good knowledge of English (as well as Italian);
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs, documented by certificates and/or other qualifications;
- Documented experience in plant research and conservation, with particular reference to plant ecology;
- Previous work experience with research bodies and public bodies on topics related to the call
