International Biodiversity Consultants Ltd (IBC) is an independent Biodiversity and Ecology specialist consultancy dedicated to conserving and enhancing the environment through Nature-based Solutions. We are working with our clients worldwide and provide them with technical support in their efforts to:minimise their ecological footprint across their activities, value chains, and operation;
enhance biodiversity on their sites; and
set up strategies and implement actions and policies to avoid any adverse impacts from future activities.

As IBC is a growing and developing business we are looking for ecology and biodiversity specialists and experts to collaborate with us on our client projects.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

IBC is looking for Ecology Contractors and Associates to work with us short, medium, and/or long-term on existing and future biodiversity and ecology projects internationally.
The skills and experience we look for include: Degrees in ecology, environmental sciences, biology, environmental engineering, geography
A Masters degree and/or PhD in relevant fields will be beneficial
International experience (minimum of 2 years)
Experience with undertaking ecological and environmental field surveys and reporting (appraisals and detailed assessments)
Specialist and expert experience with environments (freshwater, marine, terrestrial)
Specialist and expert experience covering any of the following fields: botany, entomology, ichthyology, herpetology, ornithology, mammalogy
Specialist and expert experience in ecosystem services, socio-economic stakeholder mapping and engagement, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing
Proficiency in English to technical standard

Additional skills:Advanced knowledge of data and/or statistical analysis (MS Excel, Power BI, Python, and/or R) would be advantageous
