Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the CEO of BioInt, the Consultant produces the majority of the deliverables of the projects managed functionally by the Senior manager:
- Biodiversity Footprint Assessment (BFA) and follow-up for companies and Finance (listed and unlisted assets including private equity, real estate, sovereign assets, etc.):
- Conducting the assessments (data collection, calculations, analyses and drafting of deliverables)
- Designing biodiversity strategies, support to implement action plans
- Methodological choices in relation with the CEO, & validated by the Senior manager
- Methodological development (for third-party biodiversity footprint tools):
- Contribution to methodologies (literature review, proposal and drafting of impact calculation methods) and, for candidates with an interest, to the implementation of the code (in R language), and the production of impact factors (e.g. MSA.m2/t of product) and tools (e.g. GBS)
- Contribution to the standardisation of tools, guidelines and methodologies for measuring the impacts and dependencies on biodiversity (e.g. Ecosystem Condition Protocol, TNFD, GRI biodiversity standard, PBAF) and to the animation of networks on the subject (including through communication activities and events organisation)
What we are looking for
· Master’s degree
· English C1 minimum on the European CEFR scale
· Appreciated for your curiosity, ability to analyse and learn quickly, rigour, team spirit and communication skills
· Knowledge of environmental sciences, biodiversity, LCA, agronomy, industry, input-output models, biodiversity impact & dependency tools (GBS, IBAT, ENCORE, etc.) and R all welcome
Our offer
· French permanent contract (CDI), ideally starting in September/October 2024
· Salary: depending on skills and experience + variable bonus, profit-sharing, restaurant vouchers, top-up health insurance (mutuelle), holiday vouchers
· Location: Paris, France, 3 days of remote working per week
· 25 days holiday + 10 days of French RTT
