The University of Alabama is offering an exciting opportunity for graduate students interested in studying stream ecosystems' responses to drought under climate change conditions. This NSF-NERC funded project offers:


🎓 Positions Available:

- 2 PhD positions

- 1 MS position


📍 Location: 

- Based at University of Alabama

- Field work in Iceland (Hengill Geothermal Area) and UK (EcoLaboratory Facility, University of Birmingham)


🔍 Research Focus:

- Stream ecosystem responses to drought in warming climates

- Multiple levels of biological organization (from individuals to ecosystems)

- Areas of study include physiology, community ecology, and ecosystem ecology/biogeochemistry
