Summary
The Energy and Policy Institute (EPI) is seeking a new team member to help hold the special interests blocking renewable energy and climate progress accountable for their actions. The Research Fellow will support investigations across the entire team.
About EPI
EPI is a watchdog group that exposes the anti-clean energy, anti-democracy behavior of fossil fuel companies, utilities, and their lobbying and public relations machines. Our team provides communities with the information they need to hold corporations and policymakers accountable when they advocate for cleaner and fairer energy systems.
We are a small, nimble, and growing team. The exact responsibilities of the position will be determined in part by the experience and skills of the selected candidate.
Required and Desired Experience
The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- Contributing to investigative research and reporting projects, including tracking money trails, filing public records requests, and analyzing government records and datasets.
- Organizing and analyzing data and documents.
- Working in a fast-paced environment and responding quickly and accurately to requests.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to learn on the job continuously.
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in previous roles or daily life.
