Offshore Industries Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies to mitigate the impact of offshore industries on whales and dolphins.
- Engage with industry stakeholders to promote best practices and conservation efforts.
- Conduct and support scientific research related to marine conservation.
- Advocate for stronger regulations and protections for cetaceans.
- Work closely with WDC teams and external partners to achieve conservation goals.
Requirements:
- Experience in marine policy, offshore industries, or ocean conservation.
- Knowledge of cetacean science or anthropogenic noise (desirable).
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Must be based in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
Location:
Remote, hybrid, or based in WDC's office in Chippenham (UK).
Contract:
- Full-time, fixed-term (3 years).
