CONTRACT TYPE

  • One-year paid fellowship
  • Duration: 2025-2026 program year

MAIN DESCRIPTION The RaMP-UP Tropical BioDiversity Fellowship is a one-year paid research experience working with Smithsonian Scientists and a cohort of peers in the tropics. Fellows will be:

  • Engaged in biodiversity studies with STRI scientists
  • Embedded in tropical landscapes of Panama
  • Practicing cutting-edge and rigorous research methodologies
  • Making lasting impact on Tropical Biodiversity

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree from a U.S. accredited university
  • Graduated within the last 4 years
  • Specific project requirements will vary (see website for details)

BENEFITS

  • Annual stipend: $32,000
