Job title:
Postdoctoral Researcher
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field-based ecological assessments, molecular and microbiological analyses, and experimental research.
- Utilize statistical modeling, data visualization, and GIS tools.
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary and international research teams.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to grant writing efforts.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Marine Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong background in coral reef ecology and marine ecosystem dynamics.
- Experience in field and laboratory research, statistical analysis (R, Python, GIS), and scientific communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in grant writing.
- Expertise in coral larval biology, reproduction, and physiology.
- AAUS Scientific Diver certification with Nitrox status.
- Spanish-English bilingual proficiency.
