We are looking for a Communications & Social Media Intern to help amplify our message, share our scientific findings, engage our community, and build relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Create engaging posts, graphics, and videos to promote our projects.
• Assist in writing newsletters, blog articles, and press releases.
• Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments/messages.
• Update website, pitch decks and project brochures.
• Support in communications through storytelling and impact reports.
Requirements
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Affinity with kelp/marine science, environmental and social impact
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to create visual content (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools are a plus).
